ABSTRACT | ||
The aim of the present study is to analyze the theoretical perspective and review of literature in relation to the factors that motivate female citizens to join Bangladesh Armed Forces. The female employment is one of the vital indicators of women empowerment and social development. The Armed Forces of Bangladesh started mostly with men back in 1971. But the forces become diversified and vibrant once female soldiers joined the Armed Forces in 2000. This article tries to find out the factors and related means to measure motivation towards joining the Armed Forces. It is revealed from the literature review that motivation is one of the vital factors to change an individual in his/her life. Research journals, articles, newspapers, unpublished research thesis and books are used in this study as secondary sources of data. An analytical method has been applied to interpret the data. This article will try to portray a clear concept to the researcher about motivation which will also create interest to the researcher for further study on different issues related to the motivation in Bangladesh perspective.
