ABSTRACT
Women's empowerment through political participation is an issue that has become the focus of attention in recent years. Women's empowerment will remain elusive if they are not included in the decision-making process and policy-making process by participating in electoral politics. This research paper delves into the intricate relationship between women's participation in electoral politics and their empowerment. It aims to explore the statistical evidence supporting the notion that women's increased political engagement leads to enhanced empowerment outcomes. The study employs a quantitative research approach, utilising secondary data from various reliable sources, including government reports, academic studies, and international organisations. Statistical analysis techniques will be employed to examine trends, patterns, and correlations between women's political participation and indicators of empowerment, such as education, health, economic opportunities, and social status. The statistical review will provide empirical evidence supporting the claim that women's participation in electoral politics is a crucial driver of their empowerment. By actively engaging in the political process, women can contribute to shaping policies that address their specific needs and challenges, ultimately leading to a more equitable and just society.
Keywords: women's empowerment, electoral politics, women's representation, political participation, gender equality.
