Rani Rasmani Devi, a notable social reformer of India, dedicated her life to philanthropic and public welfare activities. A significant influence on her journey was her husband, Rajchandra Das, whose ideology and guidance deeply inspired her. It was under his influence that she embraced the principles of Raja Rammohan Roy and championed the cause of women’s education. Her husband’s teachings played a pivotal role in shaping her mindset and character, fostering her commitment to social reform. Rani Rasmani’s struggles and contributions during the early 19th century remain a source of inspiration for women today. The profound impact of her husband’s guidance was central to her actions, as she faithfully followed the path he illuminated throughout her life.
