ABSTRACT | ||
The history of Barak valley is is extensive in Bengali literature. Barak valley is Constituted by three district s namely are Cachar(Silchar),Hailakandi and Sree Bhomi(Karimganj).It is observed that the main stream Bengali literature are different from the literature of north East region of Barak valley. Spanish language said the definition of proverb-"A proverb is a short sentence based on long experience."socialist philosopher Dasrelly said opinion about the proverb."proverb were enterior to books and formed the wisdom of the vulgar and in the earliest ages were the unwritten laws of morality."In our literature there are so many branches of knowledge which resides throughout the life of human beings. Having the multipurpose branches of literature proverb is one of them. Proverbs are short well known expression that after wisdom or advice. They can be particularly helpful for Students as well as general human beings as they often encapsulate important life lesson and values. It is a simple way of expressing a well known truth or adage based on common sense or experience. They are usually considered to be imbued with ancestril wisdom, passed down from generation to generation until they become part of a society oral tradition. Proverb also known saying can be the best way to convey our thought and observation, culture and every language has their popular proverbs. In this writing we can have a small visit in the field of literature of Surma Barak valley. Our Surma Barak valley is also famous for enough people spoken proverb will still have significance place in the minds of the valley people. |
